On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Junior Woman’s Club of Jefferson Township proudly hosted Safety Town at Cozy Lake Elementary School—an unforgettable day of safety education, hands-on learning, and community spirit!
Safety Town is an annual event designed to introduce young children to essential safety concepts in a fun, engaging way. With the help of local heroes and volunteers, children had the opportunity to explore topics like fire safety, emergency response, pedestrian awareness, and more through interactive stations and real-world demonstrations.
We are deeply grateful to the incredible organizations that joined forces with us to make this event a success:
🚒 Jefferson Township Fire Company No. 1
🚓 Jefferson Township Police Department
🚑 Milton First Aid Squad
🐾 Morris County Sheriff’s K9 Training Center
🐻 Cub Scout Pack 49
🌸 Girl Scout Troop 97973
From watching K9 demonstrations and climbing aboard fire trucks to bicycle safety, our young participants gained confidence and knowledge in a fun, supportive environment. The smiles on their faces said it all!
The Junior Woman’s Club of Jefferson Township is proud to support programs that educate and empower our youth. Thank you to all the volunteers, parents, and community partners who made Safety Town 2025 such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Stay tuned for more upcoming events—and remember, safety starts with you!
